07 Vitus 979 - ヘッドマーク

基本的に"Vitus 979"にはヘッドマークが無い。
(1980年代中期のBador社パンフレットを参照)

上の写真のロゴタイプとは違うが、ebay等でvitusレストア用のデカールが販売されている。
オークションで取引されるフレームのトップチューブにこのロゴタイプのデカールが配置されている自転車は多く見られる。
しかし、ヘッドチューブにまでこのデカールが貼られている物は少ない。(多くは無地のままだ)
確認できていないが、このヘッドマーク・デザインがオフィシャルな時期があったのかもしれない。

The different from the logotype of the picture above , decals for restoration of vitus are sold on ebay etc. .
I seen many bicycle that is located decal logo of this type to the top tube of the frame , which is traded in the auction .However , that this decal is affixed to the head tube are rare . ( Many people have been left plain. )

だが、これはデカールではなく、刻印されている。
ヘッドチューブとフォーククラウン、そしてシートステイにも。
特にヘッドチューブに施された刻印は、陰影部分までが極細の線で表現しているという手の込み様。
機械彫りでは不可能な、職人のハンドメイド仕事だ。

この「RR」刻印こそが、私のebay落札を後押しするものであった事は言うまでもない。
